Not entirely true Tkite. They do have Greek and Latin texts that predate the whole King James malarky. I do take your point about nature though. There's a passage in the Bible that gives man "dominion" over all the fish in the sea, creatures of the earth et al. I perceive this as the first step of man truly screwing up trying to live in balance with nature, and here we are now skipping merrily down the road of ruin with toxic waste, extreme pollution, global warming and a horrible depletion of natural resources. Yep. Leave it to me, I can blame everything on the Pope. Even Kevin Bacon's acting career.

Elle, you hit the nail on the head. That is one of the reason, I abandoned Christianity. I would argue with our minister that what we are doing to our earth was wrong and he would quote that passage. I hate what is happening with our world. We are trying to do our part. We are going to buy a hybrid car when ours dies - which might be sooner than later. We recycle. I drive a motorcycle rather than a car. The only thing right now that we have to do, is compost. I am buying one of those this fall and we will be as close to living green as we can. I try to teach the kids that the earth is our home and if we don't look after it, we are hurting it. I hope they take some of that with them. Not every Christian is bad. I know a lot of very good one. It's the "religion" I am against, not the people. Kevin and the Pope, you'll have to 'splain that one to me, Elle.
