I have lived in places where |I have seen things and felt them.
A few years ago we lived in a house where things would happen. I would clean up and make the beds. The airing cupboard door was stiff and had to be closed with a good firm shuff, it was stiff to open as well. When I finished up stairs I went down and started cleaning the living room. I heard someone walk across the landing and open the airing cupboard door. I went upstairs and sure enough it was open. I closed it again and carried on. The next time I went up it was open again. This would happen with the second bedroom door as well and you could hear what sounded like a cat jump off the bed as well. No we did not have a cat at that time. At first I told no one until my neighbour called round one day. She asked if anyone had been in whilst we were out as she had heard someone walk upstairs and go to the 2nd bedroom. Her livingroom backed onto our hallway and stairs so she could hear us go upstairs. I told her no one was in whislst we were out. It was then that she said she had heard it before but was not sure if we were both out.
Also in the same house I would be doing the washing up and could feel someone standing behind me. No one was there. We also saw a shadow walk through the hallway many times. I say we as my husband also saw it and heard the doors upstairs as well.
It was not frightening and sometimes I would say out loud, 'OK could you please close the airing cupboard door behind you?' They never did.
I did find out that the land had once been a field and there was a house and barn there in the late 1800's.
Was it a ghost or just the residual energy that we could feel? Then again how could my neighbour hear someone go upstairs when no one was in if it was residual energy?

Now this was spooky. We lived in a maisonette before we moved to this flat. I did not like the feel of the place and did not want to move into the maisonette. My husband siad it was fine and we did move in. I was not comfortable there and neither was our cat. We got Jet whilst were there. She was always nervous and would run and hide when people came round.
I would feel nervous when Colin (DH) was out and would keep myself busy either on the computer listening to music or reading (nothing scary).
One night I had to go downstairs to get a drink and when I walked into the kitchen I saw a figure standing in the kitchen. As I walked in the figure went towards the window and was gone. I never found out about the place and was pleased when we left. The whole place was creepy and the people downstairs in the ground floor flat said they often heard things and we did as well. Things like someone shouting and throwing something. What or who it was is a mystery.
Here we are fine nothing nasty here in fact the place has a warm feeling to it. Even when it was so dirty and unloved it felt like home. The flat we are in was really dirty when we took it on but it had a feeling of home about it. I have always been able to feel things and it has grown with me. So I have learnt to listen to that feeling.

Thought this would intrest you.. Once when I was out with my son taking pictures in a cemetery, I became very cold and felt my whole body shiver and then something went thru me and my hair literly stood right up.. I snaped my camera and this is what came out.. So as for believing yes I do but as I stated before there is a lot more to my believing then this. Cathy

They were both taken from the same spot it is a place called Lan- Rist (Spelling uncertain) just a few miles from Betsi-coed (Spelling). If you look at the tree line you can see that it is the same spot. The stone circle isn't genuine it was put there in the 1930's as a memorial to a local person.

We get a TV show here, I think the name is "Most Haunted". It's filmed in England around the old estates and castles. Never really sure if these folks are real or just history buffs. But they do have some good footage with orbs and such.

ah, yes, the famous most haunted. first of all the whole programme is a load of old tosh but the places that they visit are haunted and how do i know this, well i am investigating the places myself for my book about ghosts in england ;D i have to admit it can be good if you enjoy listening to yvette fielding screaming like a banshee and derek acorah being forced to go into one and get 'possessed', but after it all came out here in the uk i have turned my back on the show.

That's what I thought. Really, when you watch the show, there is nothing revealed that a bit of research could not tell you.
