*Goldmother skips in, hair flying, windswept and tangled*
Oh I am so flattered that I was mentioned even in my absence! And I'm happy to be included any way you wish! But Lily has me about right - long red hair, very blue eyes - hypnotic I believe *laughs*, very fair skin - usually barefoot. Nothing willowy about me though - think curves and you have the picture *laughs*. Now what else? Oh yes, I am prone to moments of wildness, can be quite naughty (in all sorts of ways *winks*) but am also a very deep thinker. And yes, I love sloe gin!!! Oh and I have a fabulous new tattoo on my lower back that I am very very proud of - a green and gold pentagram.
In your hands now, AG.........
Goldmother xx

Lore and legend, where do they come from... where do these fanciful tales of mystical creatures and magic come from? We have evidence of the people and the places. We have writings and song handed down through time, but where is the heart of it all? What I tell you know, is the breath that filled Man. The power and energy that filled the earth before the Changing... before men oppressed this breath and covered over it with the age of reason. Only a scant few know this. Only a scant few hold onto it with careful palms as not to snuff out the eternal flame of this magic. I tell you now, this story of lore and legend. This fanciful tale woven not just through words and the paper is written on, but through your own breath. Come with me now, to somewhere now hidden and lost to time and memory. Come with me now.....

if you don't mind a newbie joining in, I'd love to be a part of it. Just use the name Silvermoon. My persona, though not my person (unfortunately), is a tall, broad man with long black hair to mid-back. There is one streak of pure white running along the right side. The features are chiseled and eyes range from a violet blue normally to a pure silver when his wizard self is known.
THanks.

A great warrior lay upon the battlefield, his sword shattered along side his broken body. The battle done and the struggle over, the victor stood leaning against his massive sword cursing the failed warrior before him.
The sisters gasped in shock at the scene before them- they were too late. Piercing, evil-honed eyes glared at the witch sisters. They lowered their heads in hopelessness, now only hollowness inside. The victor grinned and chuckled maniacally at them, raising his sword to finish the work he had set out to do.
A rumble and shudder of the earth below broke the stride of the evil slaughterer. Pieces of the castle wall behind him broke and fell away, as if giving way to rage itself. The stunned man of death turned his head, looking up at the top of the castle wall. A clawed hand grasped and pulled at the stones, breaking several free.
ROlling upwards like a storm cloud, a mountain of scale and wing rose above the stone wall. The low growl taking over from the rumbles of shattering earth. Crimson red eyes shimmered and pulsed irratically as they stared towards the Bringer of Pain. Teeth displayed in anger lowered as the serpentine neck writhed. The creature rose upwards, his torn and bloodied wings extending, exposing his gashed chest. it's rear legs now firmly clamped down on the castle wall, Akthra raised his head, the immense dragon displayed in a final act of defiance. With a lurch and a snap, the dragon lunged his toothy maw at the black knight and bit deep into his armor. A shreak and yell of horror and agonizing pain ripped through the air. Akthra rose his head, the man half swallowed in his mouth then with a wuick flick of his head and a snap, swallowed the rest of the demon-man whole. A flash of blue light seemed to exit the dragon itself, taking with it the red fire that burned in the eyes. Within a moment, there was no rumble, no growl and the eyes of the dragon fell silent. The witches stood frozen in horror as the dragon slipped backwards over the wall. One of them burst towards the stairs leading to the top of the wall, flying up them frantically. The wall overlooked the coast upon a cliff, but there was no dragon, only the raging surf of the jagged rock coast. The rest of the sisters made there way to the stone wall and felt the curse lift from the lands. The sun peaked out from behind a cloud for the first time in ages. Tears rolled down their cheeks, their beloved dragon gone.
"You will never leave us, never leave our hearts Akthra... never." One of the sisters spoke up from her sobbing.
Days later, two of the sisters walked solumnly to the temple's courtyard. Flowers flourished as if painted by a master artist. The stone stage, scraped by the many claws from their story teller lay bare accept for the soft pedals of roses laid down by the sisters. No tear was fell free from sorrow today as they knew he was alive and well in their hearts and minds, though they were still quiet and still. They could feel his presence all around them, but it was only the energy of his tales, echoing over and over to them.
After a few moments, they turned to leave in silence only to be taken by surprise by something large passing over them. One of the sisters clasped her mouth in her hand and giggled in excitement. The two looked at each other with wide eyes, now being overwelmed with tears at the sight. They rushed through the small woods that lined the temple and Story Circle. Their feet stopped abruptly in the clearing, their hearts pounding from the sprint. Hopeful eyes peered around the meadow and the sky above, but that hope seemed to fade as they didn't find their friend aloft in the sky or upon the cool grass that the dragon was fond of dozing in. One of the sisters nudged the other and stared with a ever-growing smile of joy. The other sister followed her companion's stare and met the brilliant shine of a sapphire blue dragon perched upon the jagged bluff the protective blue dragon would use to survey his territory. A grunting huff and soft glowing blue eyes met their almost painfully joyous faces.
