Hi there, I know its been a while but I thought you guys might be interested in Witchycon. Last years was great and I am helping out this year to so do come and say hi
What is WitchyCon 06? It's a day-long witchcraft and wicca convention with
talks and workshops on palmistry, Egyptology, archaic witchcraft, Wicce,
how to make your own cosmetics, medieval magickal herbalism, the art of
wiccan healing, tarot, dragon magic and Ralph Harvey's new book.
When is WitchyCon 06? April 1st, 2006 (NO JOKE! *giggles*) from 10am - 8pm
Where is WitchyCon 06? Wantage Civic hall. It has a huge parking lot next
to it, is much easier to find than last year and can hold up to 300 people
(though we will have a cap of 200 so we can get more stalls for people to
shop at).
What do I get for my membership? Well, once you pay your £10 and become a
member you get admission to all talks and workshops, admission to the
dealers room, free tea and coffee on the day plus entry in to the
pre-registration raffle if you join now and not on the door. *IF* we get
enough people joining, I will also be including a free fabric bag with the
convention logo for all members.
How do I get tickets for WitchyCon 06? Well, at the moment I have it set
up for PayPal and you can send a cheque. If you'd like to send a cheque,
just look below. Accounts are published to the website so you can see
where we spend the membership money.
Who will be speaking? Our main speakers are: Sally Morningstar, Anna
Franklin, John Dee, Ralph Harvey, and Sasha Fenton. Our workshop speakers
are: Merry Metcalfe, Paul Wood, Peter Yockney, Ania Marczyk (TABI), and
Steve Wilson. Most of these folks are published and you can find out more
about their talks on the website.
It'll only cost you £10 until March 15th after which it'll be £12 on the
door - same price as last year but we're giving you more for your money!
So quick - grab a friend (or six) and everyone book for WitchyCon 2006!
