This term is really starting to rattle me....''Fluffy'' and ''Fluffy Bunny'' - A term used by those in the Pagan community to describe either a ''newbie'' or one that reads certain books, has loads of crystals, runs with Fae's and dragons, has animal totems and angel guides....WHAT?........Shut up!!!!!....
I personally think that these people who call another a Fluffy are rude and insensitive, for me thats a form of bullying....
So what if someone in the craft feels comfortable waving a wand that they have brought, wearing a cloak when they are outside in the cold, talking to their spiritual guides, working with crystals, dancing in the moonlight with the faries.....So bloody what, what right has another in the craft got the right to demoralize another's way of thinking and expressing themselves...
I know that there are a lot of ''Buffy'' and ''charmed'' fans out there and this lead them to the path they are on, but didn't we all have to start somewhere?...Hey i like charmed, guess that makes me a fluffy too.....
I also understand that some of these new to the craft may be exploring territories that they don't fully understand, but isn't that a form of learning?, isn't that what these types of forums are all about?, personally they should guide these people, not bully them, have they not thought for a minute what their nasty comments could be doing to one so young on their path.....So up their own arses they can see the wood for the trees ...
Ok rant over, thoughts anyone?.....
