Some places in the world are very hard to climb unaided and therefore people use pack animals. Each person can ride only one and each animal may have a different name. The riders can go up different trails and in have widely varying interpretations of their experiences. One may think the journey thrilling, while another is terrified. Another can find it boring.
But once they reach the summit, all the travelers dismount and stand in the same place to view the same vistas. The donkeys they've used are put left to rest and graze, since they're not needed anymore.
We're all travel the path to spirituality, and the donkeys are the various doctrines we embrace. Why judge or ridicule people over the name of their donkey as long as it leads them to the summit? Aren't you riding one yourself?
