I have been walking around the garden and eventually I am seeing spring!
To me the snowdrops are the first indication - then the daffodils - to me though the first real herald is blossom on the trees - non yet but buds are forming.....
What is it to you?

I can see the first stirring of the bluebells as they push through the ground and the leaf buds on the trees. When the bluebells are in full bloom and the sun reflects off the flowerer's leaving a blue sheen everywhere I know summer is here. I have tried to photograph the effect many time but somehow it never seems to quite capture it, you have to see it with your own eyes.

I know what you mean B, im lucky enougth to have planted a wild wood / garden and i have loads of bluebells that come up year after year ~ I saw the first sign that spring was on its way when i saw the snowdrops in full bloom, then the daffodils pushed through the warming earth and the buds on the trees are started to form... But for me the sure sign that spring is finally here, is when the blackbird that visits my garden year after year breaks into song at dawn and again at dusk ;D.....

I have spent a wonderful afternoon in my garden... ;D The sun was shining, the birds were singing and i got busy tiding up and having a fire...It looks all tidy now, although i may need to do another fire again sometime in the week , as long as the weather holds... Now i can get digging the land over and sow my vegetables And to top it off, my blackbird has come almost like a greeting and is singing his little heart out, for me, spring has arrived..... ;D ;D
