It was funny as I was thinking about whether to do this or not, I realized that one of the promises I made was to spend more time learning tarot and in return I would help this site. I guess Verminda's request allows me to do both.
I was asking what is in store for us tomorrow for and two cards fell out. Usually with tarot, when there are two cards, one is for what is behind you and one is for what is ahead of you. If cars fall out of the deck, it means they want to be read.
The 1st card (what is behind) was the Tower The 2nd card (what is ahead) was the Sun.
The Tower is the 16th card it relates to war, destruction and spiritual renewal. It also relates to Mars. It is associated with fire.
The Sun means happiness, joy, contentment. It also relates to the sun. It is associated with fire.
Based on this I would say that past events that seem traumatic were necessary to gain future spiritual enlightment. Only through learning fro the past can we go forward and be happy and content. This would lead me to believe that past events were necessary to the family becoming a whole.

I think we have all been in bed with the tower before. Anyone over 18 has anyway.

Todays card is the 2 of pentacles.
This is an interesting card. It is a card associated with balance and happiness. It is also associated with false troubles. The Lord of Harmounious change. A card associated with the earth.
There is change for the good coming which will provide balance. We are rooted in our path. The troubles felt are imagined and not grounded in reality.
Interesting, to say the least. Not what I was expecting.

Today's card is the Page of Pentacles. This card is representative of a young person on the brink of a change. A time of reflection and structure and management.
It is associated with the Earth of Earth.
My reading:
There is a positive change or a new discovery coming in the next day or two. It must be managed well and grounded in reality to suceed. There must be a set structure to facilitate this. This is a time to reflect on this and trust in what lies ahead.

I must apolgize. I have been very remiss in my duties for reading tarot. It's been a very crazy couple weeks and I haven't been in the right frame of mind to do a tarot reading. Don't want to upset the tarot reading with my own garbage.
Back at it again.
Todays card:
Two of pentacles
It is funny that this card comes up again.
This is an interesting card. It is a card associated with balance and happiness. It is also associated with false troubles. The Lord of Harmounious change. A card associated with the earth.
There is change for the good coming which will provide balance. We are rooted in our path. The troubles felt are imagined and not grounded in reality.
I wonder why this is coming up twice? It makes me feel like the tarot is telling us that we are not paying attention to it.
I would say that this is more a warning in this case. In my previous reading, I had taken the card to mean
There is change for the good coming which will provide balance. We are rooted in our path. The troubles felt are imagined and not grounded in reality.
My reading.
I would say, this time it is saying that if we don't recognize that this change has happened for the best and that if we spend time wallowing in the troubles that we have imagined, then the change will be for naught. It is a stronger message this time.

Hey hun...Thanks for that and i think i have to agree with you, that it being a strong message and to take more notice of it.....I have put your post on sticky, so it does not get lost in the threads.....You are also right in not doing a reading if you are not in the right frame of mood, but im glad that you have now returned.....V..xx...

Thanks. If my mind isn't at peace, it will colour a reading and I won't be doing it for the forum, but me. Not bad sometimes, but not good when I am asking a generic question about our forum.

I should change the name to not so daily Tarot reading. LOL
Todays card is the 8 of Swords. It is a card of conflict and regret. A critical moment or crisis. Not the greatest card.
It is an air sign. The 8 is the Lord of shortened force.
Reading this card it would mean that a crisis is eminate and we have to prepare for it. Based on what is happening in the Southern states that would make sense. The worst is yet to come there.
It could also mean that you are at a cross roads or crisis point in your life. Decisions have to be made. Today is a day for reflection and gathering of facts. It is not a day to make important decisions.

Today's card is the 6 of cups.
It is associated with the element Water, the Lord of Pleasure.
This is a card associated with the past. This is a good time to reflect on what you have done that brought you pleasure. Pleasant memories. It's a time of reflection rather action.

Wow, it's funny how we associate different meanings with the Tarot. For example Seleena's last card the 6 of cups, while I do associate it with nostalgia and thinking about people that aren't in our lives anymore, I also associate it with re-emerging skills and being surrounded with family and friends.
What pack are you using Seleena? This is a great thread, keep it going!
